National Education Summit 2019

We’ve just got back from the National Education Summit in Brisbane (31/5/19~1/6/19) – it was a long drive to Brisbane with all of our robots and demo’s but it was great to meet so many people interested in our STEAM solutions …. we were busy for the entire 2 days, it was fantastic to see so many teachers looking for alternative STEAM products.

While we were at the National Education Summit we presented a number of Makerspace sessions, they were on:

1. Robotis’s new ENGINEER Kit which was flown in just for this event,
2. Programming the Thymio robot and demonstrating what a great little robot this is for teaching students to code,
3. Robotis’s new open source products including the Open Manipulator, the Dynamixel ready Arduino Shield and the new’ish OpenCR – a powerful Arduino like microcontroller system, and
4. RoboWorks new drone – the Hummingbird which can be programmed in Blocky and Scratched and upgraded to be a ‘flying Arduino’.
